” —my favorite line of any song ever. bold claim but i stand by it. thank you, needtobreathe.i had someone this week define for me what a friend means to them. it was the most genuine and heartfelt description i think i’ve ever heard of a friend.
he also told me he doesn’t have any.

” —an eclectic painting on my friend’s wall. but it’s obviously by someone brilliant. and someone who understands that love isn’t really about yourself anyway.Good works flow instinctively from a heart that’s enthralled by God’s love—God has helped us and we therefore want to help others.
[I want to be enthralled by God’s love. If I’m not, then what’s fueling my love for people? I’m not sure I want to know.]
